Temporal Analysis of Supply and Demand of Topics on The Web

Abstract
Timing of supply and demand for information on a topic does not always
coincide. Sometimes one of them rises first, then the other follows.
We show a classification of hot topics on the Web in the past based on
the temporal relationship between their supply and demand, and also
show that our classification is useful for predicting the timing of
supply peaks in some cases.
