  • Presentation by students at DEIM 2024

    2024.3.5

The four students of our group listed below gave presentation at the 16th Forum on Data Engineering and Information Management(DEIM2024).

    • Yixin Zhang: “Analysis of visual characteristics of ingredients in recognition of images in recipe procedure instruction”
    • Mamoru Yamakawa: “Evaluation of users’ follow action models based on real SNS data”
    • Mizuki Hisatomi: “Grouping Web browser tabs into tasks”
    • Akitaka Yamashita: “SNS user location estimation from rain data”

Similarly to the several previous years, the forum consists of online presentation (2024.2.28-2024.3.1) and in-person poster presentation (2024.3.4-2024.3.5).
In-person presentations were held in Arcrea Himeji at Himeji.
In most years in the past, most students participated in DEIM, but this year, many members could not participate because of other schedules, and only four of us and Prof. Tajima participated.

Snacks and light refreshments were provided at the venue, and attendees were free to enjoy them during poster presentations and networking sessions.

After the presentation, we toured Himeji Castle in a light rain. This World Heritage Site, the pride of Himeji, is always overwhelmingly powerful, no matter how many times you see it. We climbed the main keep and explored the interior.
